CIP will conduct analysis on specifications and production techniques. All major factors would be taken into account in addition to the print production. We will review lead times, print quality, substrate requirements, service levels, packaging, storage, delivery and working processes and procedures.

These would also highlight any area where, for example: technology could be utilised: alternative print specifications would be more appropriate: there is an opportunity to separate a requirement into substrate and production: products could be standardised.

In addition, effective procurement recognises that even the most highly rated supplier has periods when they have spare capacity and are consequently more likely to provide greater competitive pricing. Once completed, will we provide a full written report on the saving achieved.
